Studio Policy
1. Lessons may be paid in cash, cheque, or bank transfer. Payments are typically received at the end of each month.
2. The cost of books, entry fees to festivals, or any other materials will be added to that month's lesson fee.
3. Parents will be given access to their child's information through www.jannabaigent.mymusicstaff.com. No one else will see this information other than the parent teacher. This is a way to see any outstanding dues as well as monitor their child's progress, voice any concerns and post comments.
4. Parental involvement in the progress of students is encouraged. Parents are welcome to attend lessons.
5. Their are no make up lessons.
6. Please give prior notice to any canceled lessons. The sooner the better. This applies to both the student and the teacher.
7. Time lost because of a student's lateness cannot be made up.
8. Teachers respect the provision of the Federal Legislation regarding protection of privacy. Personal information provided by parents will not be shared with others without express authorization by parents.
9. Teachers are bound by the Code of Ethics contained in the By-Laws of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association.
